Remote control
Use the supplied remote control to operate this receiver.
- (on/standby)
Turns the receiver on or sets it to the standby mode.Saving power in standby mode
Save power by setting the receiver as follows:- Set [Control for HDMI], [Pass Through], [Network Standby] (for USA and Canadian models only), and [Bluetooth Standby] to [Off].
- Turn off the receiver in zone 2 (for STR-DN1050 only).
- Input buttons
Select the device you want to use.
When you press any of the input buttons, the receiver turns on. - CUSTOM PRESET
- A.F.D./2CH, MOVIE, MUSIC
Select a sound field. - AMP MENU
Displays the menu to operate the receiver. - , ///
- OPTIONS
Display and select items from the options menus. - HOME
Displays the menu of the audio/video device that is currently being controlled by the remote control. - /, (*),
Skip, play, pause, stop operation.
PRESET+/–
Select preset stations or channels. - + (*)/-
Adjust the volume level of all speakers at the same time. - HDMI OUTPUT
Switches the output for two monitors connected to the HDMI OUT A and HDMI OUT B jacks (for STR-DN1050 only).
Turns the output for HDMI TV OUT on/off (for STR-DN850 only). - WATCH, LISTEN Select [Watch] or [Listen] on the home menu directly. When pressing these buttons on the Watch or Listen screen, you can move the focus to select the desired input.
- DISPLAY
View information on the display panel. - RETURN
Returns to the previous menu or exits a menu or on-screen guide that is displayed on the TV screen. -
Turns off the sound temporarily. Press the button again to restore the sound.
* The and + buttons have tactile dots. Use the tactile dots as a reference when operating the receiver.
