Comment: hi, i cant get this to work, i run through savegame instller but i get error ret 1, then i try it through savegamemanager but i get error ret 106. i do have a cod mw already saved on my wii. what else can i do?

Comment: Hi guys, before testing i gathered infos about this and it seems savegame installer only works with original copies... Do you know how I could put the savegame into my wii with a backup CD ? (I can also use USB loaders)
Or can anyone extract the bin file and upload it ?

huh...wait do you mean this:
download the save file
download the install manager
put the save file into the "title" folder
make new folder where the "private" folder is (note...not IN the private folder)
name new folder either "wiisave" or "gamesaves"
extract the .rar file in it
insert sd card in the wii
KEEP the preexisting file you have on the wii
here is where i get confused.
the comments above say that the game itself has a game save manager
im talking about the one in the wii menu...it still doesn't work for either way.

Si erreur 106: extraire votre sauvegarde wii sur carte sd et remplacer l'ensemble des dossiers (1,2,3,4,5) avec la sauvegarde que vous avez téléchargé, reinstaller votre sauvegarde avec le savegame manager.

I f you have error 106, extract your save, than put the downloaded repretory 1,2,3,4,5 in your saved erpertory and reinstall it.

I downloaded Savegame Extractor 2.0 and Savegame Install 2.0

I first extracted the game, and it created a WIISAVES directory at the root of the SD card. Within WIISAVES it created a directory called RJAE

Within that it had the folders 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 BANNER, CODMW.DAT and FILELIST.DAT

Your savegame rar does not contain a FILELIST.DAT so I'm not sure that it's required or not... If you open with notepad all it contained was:

banner.bin codmw.dat 4 3 2 1 0 

(note, one trailing space after the zero, and no lines below it)

Loaded profile and 007 was then there. Hope this helps anyone else.. I suggest if you're having issues try to dump with Wii SaveGame Extractor 2.0, then overwrite the files in the folders with Wii SaveGame Installer.
