=========================================================================== Advanced engine needed : GZdoom Primary purpose : Single play =========================================================================== Title : Deimos forgotten storage pit Filename : Dfsp.pk3 Release date : 19 / 09 / 2020 Author : Peter Moro Email Address : [redacted] Other Files By Author : Deimos abandoned base #79 Phobos abandoned outpost pt.1 + 2 Description : Short tech base. Gameplay is fast and intense and a bit slaughterish with a lot of close-quarters combat and continuous action. This map is difficult but not crazy difficult and there is plenty of health available. It's absolutely possible to complete this on the first playthrough. Ammo consumption and balance is a strong gameplay mechanic and while there is definitely enough ammo, you'll certainly want to be careful how you spend shells and bullets etc. I've playtested this many times and most of the time, after the final monster i had just a few shells left. The map has a chainsaw at the start of the map so that can help with ammo balance but I think most regular Doomers wouldn't have a problem. Story: In a desert crater on Deimos lies an ancient UAC storage facility. You have been called in to investigate.
