========================================================================= Advanced engine needed : Boom-compatible Primary purpose : Single play UPDATE TO: bloodbhd.wad ========================================================================= Title: Bloodbath: Hell's Deepest Filename: bloodbhd.wad Author: Keagan Dunn ("Dunn & Dunn") Email: [redacted] Other Files by Author: firstb.wad, stuff on DW Misc. Author Info: Some mapper who went way ahead of himself first time playing Doom and was inspired by difficult WADs. ========================================================================= DESCRIPTION --- A set of 7 (6 with 1 secret) Boom-compatible Doom II maps, designed to be played from pistolstart. Who needs realistic techbase buildings filled with nothing but hitscanners? Introducing abstract, hell-themed environments. Each with their own twists, and constructed with only the stock textures. These maps were first designed around UV, and later tuned up a bit on that difficulty, so do make use of the difficulty settings if you have to! There are no zombies present in the maps, nor are there any medikits or stimpacks. Powerups are present, and health bonuses are 24, 16, or 8 stacked on top of each other depending on your difficulty. Armor bonuses are always worth 5. Make use of these changes, and make your way through hell's deepest, goriest remains...and the challenges they've put together for you... ***Credits, map commentary, and extra information are available in the 'bloodbhd_extra_info' text file.*** ======================================================================== * WHAT IS INCLUDED * New levels : 1-6, 31 Sounds : No Music : Yes Graphics : Yes Dehacked Patch : Yes Demos : No Other : MAPINFO & MUSINFO lumps Other files required : No PLAY INFO --- GAME: DOOM2 MAPS: 01-06, 31 SINGLE PLAYER: Designed for COOPERATIVE 2-4: Some maps were designed for DEATHMATCH: Player starts only DIFFICULTIES: 1-5 (All) BASE: New from scratch BUILD TIME: Initially ~3+ months, with constant improvement later on EDITORS USED: Ultimate Doom Builder, SLADE, Doom Writer KNOWN BUGS: Voodoo dolls can't work MusicChanger actors in non-ZDoom ports, so music change in MAP31 will be delayed.
