This is a snapshot of a Linux installation, as you would see it "live" on your computer, burnt onto a CD. Since most of the System's contents do not change, they can reside on a read-only medium like a CD. Data compression is applied and the result is a snapshot image of the read-only system parts. This Live version allows you to take a glance at the world of Linux without taking any risk. Simply try the operating system and the applications! How to use the SUSE LINUX 9.2 Live: 1. Use a burning application of your choice to burn the ISO file to a blank CD-R/CD-RW. Select the option that allows burning a CD-ROM image and/or a ISO966O file system. 2. Insert the CD in your drive and boot your system from it. The regular SUSE LINUX 9.2 personal installation starts. 3. Test your new SUSE LINUX and take a look at the operating system and applications. Please click on a tab to continue.
